laura’s place

A few weeks ago Laura, Eric and I went to the final reviews for the Environmental Design class that is graduating this year and afterwards we went to Laura’s place for some beers. Laura lives in one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Vancouver, Strathcona. These pictures took so long to set up! I kept trying [unsuccessfully] to direct their glasses so the moustaches were in the right place. We were close. I love Laura’s place, there’s great light in there and a beautiful tree blossoming outside the window.

The roll turned out mostly okay. There are a few blurry and overexposed photos, but at least there will be some more new pictures up here soon.

I really wish I could say I took these photos, but they’re not mine. They were taken by Eric, who is now in Tokyo! I’m pretty jealous. I guess I get to go on my own fun trip this summer but going to Japan [somewhere I have never been and would love to see] would be pretty amazing. I’ll have to start saving for another year soon. Now that I think of it, a lot of my friends are abroad right now, if only I had the money to visit them all!

I start work tomorrow so I am hopefully going to be able finish off this roll of film somewhere along the way! I found a few more film photos which I can share in the meantime. Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
