in the attic

After sufficiently stuffing ourselves at Borough Market we checked out the nearby Operating Hall + Herb Garret. This place was discovered in the attic of an old church in the 50s and was pretty well preserved. Lots of things have been added since it’s discovery/conversion into a museum but it was interesting to see how far medicine has come since then, and how many things we still use today. All I can say is I’m glad I wasn’t a pregnant woman back in those days.. there were some scary looking instruments in there…

Well even though I’m looking forward to the weekend I have a midterm presentation for my design studio on Wednesday.. so I will be pretty busy trying do put my presentation together. Anyways, it’s Friday so time for a bit of a break. Enjoy the weekend!
