winter road trip

A couple weekends ago, me and a few friends rented a couple of cars and decided to drive through the Netherlands and Belgium to Luxembourg and Germany. It had snowed the day before but luckily the roads were clear and it made for some spectacular scenery while we were driving. The first photo was taken on the train on the way to pick up our car.. it looked like that outside for most of our drive through NL. Our first stop was Maastricht in southern Holland. We didn’t spend too much time there but it seemed like a really interesting place.. I’ll have to go back sometime.
I signed up for a darkroom course at my school and we had our first class last night. I’m looking forward to getting more involved in the process of developing and making prints.. excited for next week already!
fantastic photos
Thanks!
Truly enjoying your blog and photos from The Netherlands. I spent some time NL about five years ago and the experience has stayed with me since. Thanks!
Thanks! Glad to hear you’re enjoying the photos
It looks sooooo cold there! I love the snow pictures, they’re very calm and peaceful-looking.
Yeah, for a couple of weeks it was really freezing over here. Thanks, Allison!
I love winter, although people say it’s not interesting at all. My country doesn’t have winter. =((
I don’t believe any season can be better than summer, specially winter. However, I’m in love with the third photo!
Yeah, I know what you mean about winter.. thanks though!
