critical mass

Now that I bike pretty much every day I really regret not taking part in Critical Mass back in Vancouver when I had the chance. I took these photos on one of my last Fridays in Vancouver at Stanely Park. For those of you who don’t know, Critical Mass is a massive bike “tour” with hundreds [possibly thousands] of cyclists that takes place on the last Friday of every month. All the commuters in Vancouver really hate it because the cyclists usually end up closing down the Lion’s Gate bridge during rush hour.
It was really cool to experience it from the vantage point looking down over the bridge though.
Although, I’m pretty sure the number of bikes parked at the Delft train station even outnumbers this!

hi. I came from Allison’s blog. This is such an interesting event. I used to bike a lot too.
Hi, thanks for your comment
I think some other cities have similar events too. It’s definitely something fun!
